BRUNÈS was founded on a single idea: that modern menswear should feel as considered as it looks. Born from a quiet frustration with disposable fashion, we set out to build a wardrobe for the man who moves between Jakarta boardrooms and Milan coffee bars with the same effortless ease.
We craft refined essentials — knit polos, soft tailoring, structured outerwear — designed to outlast trends. Each piece is developed in small runs with European mills and ateliers, using merino, cotton and linen chosen for their longevity. Restraint is our luxury; quiet confidence is our signature.
Our design language draws from mid-century modernism and the raw textures of Southeast Asian craftsmanship. Every silhouette is pared back to its essential form, then rebuilt with subtle, intentional detail — a hidden pocket, a hand-finished hem, a fabric that softens with age rather than deteriorating.
From Jakarta to Milan, BRUNÈS is worn by a generation that values craft over noise. This is clothing that doesn't shout. It doesn't need to.
The Process
We produce two collections a year, Spring/Summer and Autumn/Winter. Each begins with months of material research — touching, wearing, washing, aging fabrics until we find the ones that tell a story over time.
Our atelier partners in Portugal, Japan, and Indonesia each bring decades of specialized expertise. A single polo may pass through three workshops before it reaches you: the mill that knits the fabric, the dyer that achieves the exact shade of charcoal, the factory that constructs the collar to hold its shape through hundreds of wears.
We release in limited drops, not seasonal floods. When a style sells through, it may not return. This is by design.

BRUNÈS began in a Jakarta living room — a conversation between three friends about the kind of clothes they wished existed. Refined, restrained, made to last. What started as a shared frustration became a house built on craft and considered design.
